Payment Specialist

Popis práce:
Processing of payment transactions and related activities,
  • Serves as a liaison with other departments by maintaining clear and responsive communication regarding payment related inquiries and status updates,
  • Supporting reconciliation of payments accounting and related activities,
  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs,
  • Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors,
  • Analyzing workflow processes,
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients,
  • Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures,
  • Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges,
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.

Podmienky prijatia:
Main Duties
  • A minimum of 1 – 2 years recent customer service, data entry, clerical and/or office support experience, demonstrating working knowledge of general office administration practices and procedures– required, preferably at financial department,
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Coursework and/or certification in accounting; or relevant education – preferred,
  • Effective and professional communication skills,
  • Adaptive to frequent process changes,
  • General skillset to perform/navigate on Microsoft OS,
  • Experience with Excel (intermediate or above) ,


Other Duties:
  • Timely processing of e-payments on behalf of our customers,
  • Work with suppliers to ensure payment completion within designated timeframe
  • Use all tools and resources available to maintain minimal errors, see discipline guideline; quality over quantity,
  • Focus on constant improvement through weekly reporting and discussions with your leader,
  • Protects and maintains confidentiality with all customer financial data when handling customer requests and transactions.
